Ancra Aircraft’s Adjustable Breakaway Fitting is dual functioning. Not only does it create a solid and reliable connection with the anchor point, but it also acts as a high-strength tensioning device. Instead of using both an end fitting and a separate buckle to tighten down the load, we’ve combined both into this single component.
Just push the spring-loaded heat-treated cast steel retainer into the Ancra Aircraft Track for a quick and easy fit to create a solid connection point. Then you just load the strap through the buckle and pull to the desired tension. The buckle’s teeth clamp down on the strap, keeping it tight and secured along the cargo. This Breakaway Fitting is built for durability with heat-treated alloy steel and cadmium plated sideplates, stud, and cross pins.
