With Ancra Aircraft’s Adjustable Breakaway Fitting in hand, you no longer need to add a tensioning device to the tie down assembly as the Breakaway Fitting keeps the strap tensioned for you. Simply pull the strap through the buckle until it’s as tight as you need it to be, and the buckle bites down on it and holds it in place.
Very easy to install, this fitting quickly clicks into an Ancra Aircraft Track to establish a reliable anchoring point. It’s an excellent component for when the tie down space is critical and having a bulky tensioning device would take up too much room. Built for strength, the sideplates, stud, and cross pins are made from heat-treated alloy steel with a cadmium plated finish.
